At HI Lillehammer Hostel, we are proud to be one of the 3500+ Hotelling International hostels in the world. In our 10 hostel rooms, with 36 beds, you get a great deal on accommodation in Lillehammer.
Service and hospitality have the be focus here since the beginning of Lillehammer Station in 1993. We got named one of the world’s best hostels in 2007. In 2012 we got the local award for excellent service and hospitality, and in 2019 we were awarded to Norway’s most welcoming hostel hosts. We aim to live up to this in the coming years as well.

Travel and socialise
As a hostel-traveller, you are often social and like to engage with other people. We have made it easy for you to meet up in our guest kitchen/guest living room. You get breakfast from our café/restaurant, where you can also buy lunch, coffee and dinner. You can live by yourself or buy a bed in our rooms for men and women. At least one guest has to have turned 18 years to be able to book a room with us.
We also offer hairdryers, iron and iron board on request, just ask us in the reception. If you have any special requests or needs, please let us know when making the booking.

ROOM TYPES
3-bedroom
Our standard 3-bedroom has one single bed, a bunk bed, a TV screen and a bathroom. Some of them have a desk as well. There is space for a travel cot if you travel with a baby. The rooms are located on the third floor and have a view towards the town centre/east or the railway/west. All rooms are available by elevator.

Our standard 4-bedroom has two bunk beds, a small table with chairs and a bathroom. There is space for a travel cot if you travel with a baby. The rooms are located on the third floor and have a view towards the town centre/east or the railway/west. All rooms are available by elevator.

Bed in shared room – men only
You can book a bed in a shared room where you get your own bed and share the room and bathroom with other men. We use some of our 4-bedrooms (with bunk beds) as shared rooms. The room has made beds, towels and a bathroom. The rooms are located on the third floor and have a view towards the town centre/east or the railway/west. All rooms are available by elevator.
