By train

The train (SJ and VY) stops right outside Stajonen Hotel, and is probably the easiest and most sustainable way to travel here. In the southern direction (Oslo, Oslo Airport Gardermoen, Torp Sandefjord airport) there are trains going almost every hour, and in the northern direction (Åndalsnes/Trondheim/Bodø) there are 3 to 4 daily rutes.

Parking

Follow the signs for Lillehammer city center when entering Strandtorget/Cirkel K by Mjøsbrua (Lillehammer South). Drive straight ahead at the roundabout at the petrol station, through the tunnel. Turn left at the first entrance after the tunnel (signs to the station).

On the short-term car park, take a free 30-minute ticket. Check in at our reception located in the main building (the station’s oldest building). After check-in, you can move the car to the long-term parking lot. Take the first right from the short-term car park, under the railway bridge. Drive past the commuter parking and park further away in the car park. You need to pay to park here. The parking machine is by the stairwell where you can go in a tunnel under the railway and into the station. Find parking on Google Maps.
